The passion of teaching is often overlooked; given less credit
than deserved...wages offered for what instructors do for the preservation/continuation of Humans as an intelligent society have long been an incredible slap in the face of those the world should be thanking...

Bradbury is, I believe, the best author of our time.
I have pieces which are very influenced by his style, but I can't even come close. My good friend had a penpal relationship with him in the 80s which brought my friend much joy. His biography, A ILLUSTRATED LIFE, is fascinating. I think that he often gets lumped into Sci Fi, but what he really is is an author like Mark Twain who comments on humanity through fiction, making social statements and sometimes objective observations. I love him, unequivocally.
