There is no doubt, Xeno-x, that a withdrawal of some kind must begin
soon. We are spending nearly $6 billion a week in Iraq. Our stock market is convulsing. Interest rates are going up across the board. We're taking money away from social programs and public education to pay for it, so the amount and level of education is suffering (one of the reasons why two-thirds graduating seniors can't find New York on a map). We cannot tie ourselves to the stability of Iraq and the government needs to listen to the people when all we want is an end to a needless and wasteful war. Stop preaching fear, start practicing reform.

The question isn't Iraq, the question is Israel. Unless your country supports the Jews in the middle east, it will go the way of all superpowers. But your country is a beautiful, wide, romantic and wonderful country, and it will be an almost total force for good. And Xeno, you are all that's best about your country! The edge is, has and will always lean left. Long live Neil Young!!
