Kiddo
I will pray that she returns home safely. I don't know if this will help but I have a neice who was missing (age 20) for a little over 6 months and then one day she called home for help, she had got hooked up with drugs and people caught up in that lifestyle. I do hope you and your family will hear from her soon.

Hi, Kiddo,
I pray for your sister's safe return home to you and your family.  God bless you all.

why i say this i don't know
i tink she's safe

maybe just staying out of sight for a while

sometimes it takes a great deal of assurance for some people.

why I am thinking of a shack with corrugated iron walls i don't know.

posted by Xeno-x on June 21, 2006 at 6:38 AM | link to this | reply

Geez...

So sorry.  How horrible to have to go through this.

Try to stay posative.

Do you know if she was with these men for drugs?  If so, she may have went off somewhere to use them?
I don't know a whole lot about drug usage, but I'm sure it's possible that she has lost track of time if she is using, and maybe you'll hear from her when the drugs are gone.

Also, I know it's unusual, but people sometimes get amnesia for whatever reason.
I know it's easier said than done, but you haven't heard anything, and until you do, the best thing you can do is encourage your family and yourself to not assume that anything horrible has happend.

I will pray that you will get good news soon, and that you and your family can find comfort during this time of waiting.

fwmystic - it IS the worst. We still haven't heard anything.

Kooka lives - words always seem meaningless to the one who has
"nothing" else to offer, or so they think.  But  trust me,  just the simple fact that those words are offered and knowing what's behind those words, they hold more weight than gold.  Thank you for your "words".   I have talked to her about her finger,  she has just had so much her short life thrown at her and that topped it off.  My little girl is covered on her right side with scars from being burned, it really scares me how girls will allow their self image to go to shit leading them to the worst kinds of elements.  I know.  Married one of them.   Thank you again for your concern.  You really are a sweetie, don't know why you get fussed with so much.

No words...
For what it's worth, I'll pray like the pope.

Not knowing must be the worst.

Wow
This is one of those things where words seem just too meaningless.

I hope sister returns soon.  It sounds like a lot of people are worried about her.

When you see her again, you can tell her that missing a finger is nothing to feel bad about.  My wife has a finger missing and it really is not noticeable. I keep forgetting about it myself.

That is sick I'm glad his daughter is safe now, he should still be in jail. I hope your sister is not with these men and is just taking some time away. She will call when she is ready.

8-ball... my sister feels horrible now. See, she found out a friend of
our dads that we both have had horrible arguments with, and also took her to the store for something and instead took her to the woods and told her how easy it would be to kill someone - wound up actually being arrested a few months ago for murder.  His brother told on him to get out of a drug charge, and they found a 10 year old little girl with her head smashed in behind a building.  Also, they found cameras in his daughters room (12 years old) he was video taping himself raping her.  This guy I have known and have had almost actual physical fights with,  most my life.  His brother knew, and he is still out ,..scarey. But now courtney is thinking about that, and it hurts .

bel - thank you... my sister didn't recognize the men. There are so many
crack head drug dealers in the area we live, they are all the same.  They were in her car I believe.. I just hope this ends soon.

Azur - thank you, and you are right, it wasn't lady like. She had passed..
this lady going down a country road... the lady was doing around 20 in a 65, but when she passed her I guess her mental problems kicked in.  Ashley drove to her boyfriends house, opened her door to get out, and she came blasting in the driveway and hit her car running it into a tree.  She was halfway out of the car when it happend, threw her back in, the lady backed up, and hit her again.  Then drove around the block to her own house.  crazy, huh?  The boyfriends dad followed her, called the police, and turns out she really does have mental problems, along with a drug problem.

My Gosh,
I hope you find her safe. Has your sister ever seen these men before somewhere else? Does she know if they have a car/truck? Anything your sister can remember when she saw those men would help. I will pray for her and your family don't stop looking.

I am praying
and will continue until she comes home to you safe and sound.    I wish I had more to offer or some form of comfort for you, but please know that there are people who do care.
