That thought crossed my mind also, Nautikos, and I may have done the
good captain an injustice. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time he was quoted out of context or misquoted or his quoted edited.

I too was amazed at the captain's statement that 'someone wanted them dead'. Really? How the hell did he figure that out? But, you know, it may not be his fault at all. I have seen many occasions where media types would ask questions that just make your shake your head. And, knowing myself, I know I could not resist giving answers as, or even more, inane than the questions put to me by those people...

Maybe, maybe not. If irresponsible asses, drug-involved or retaliation-
minded or not, are left to go unchecked, whose to say how much damage they can (and will) do to the collateral public. Tit for tat is fine, sarooster, as long as only the principals are involved, but that is never a given, especially with morons playing with guns and shooting a moving vehicles.

If the shooting are drug-related or retaliatory in nature I don't
really care if they catch the shooters. Maybe they will get shot in another retaliatory shooting and a whole bunch of thugs will be dead.
