just a little education.
much of what this blog is about is education -- enlightening people as to the details of the concept of hell, etc.
it's like reading an encyclopedia article -- in fact, it virtually is.

Xeno-x - Limbo is the one nonsensical teaching of the catholic church that
actually gave me nightmares as a young child.
Explained to me at the age of 4 while attending the baptism (read infant indoctrination) of one of my cousins. According to this fable, all infant deaths would have the innocent babies sentenced to an eternity of nothingness. Those without an indictable offence that died without being baptized would be sent there as well. All because they hadn't been relieved of original sin. The same people that utter this dribble speak of an all loving God in the same breath. The whole deal sounds a lot more like a subscription ploy to me. What better way to insure that you get them tithing as young as possible than to invent an imaginary plague (original sin) with consequences (limbo) and only a ceremony that you can perform offers the cure? This is nonsense by the truckload and in all such contrived lunacy, you need only follow the money to get to the root cause. In this case built in growth for the church.
