Rather you than me, MerryAnne. Our granddaughter has just decided to walk instead of bumming along, and we are exhausted racing after her. Thank goodness she is a happy child.

I always think you have far more ideas
than me about how to entertain your girls. Mine entertains herself. She
works with her stickers and pens and books and she cares for her babies

Cookie cutters and Sculpey or Fimo (from art supply dept. or store)
clay that you bake to harden it, were great rainy day things for my little grandkids. They loved taking balls of clay and flattening them, adding different colors to make faces, hair, etc... little cookie-sized sculptures -- and after they're baked, they become collectibles. If they're small and flat, they can be glued to magnets and decorate the fridge... Have fun.

:-) Symph!
I actually have a book called "What can I do today" with a bunch of great activities in it. Today we are making Father's Day presents.... if you look off to the horizon you see our location by the cloud of green glitter!
