Damon, I was pleased you have kep on with Blogit
I noted the title and wondered which "wars" you were discussing. The last blog talks about the US_UK "War on Terror", so I assume you may also be referring to Afghanistan. While I accept a lot of what you say, I truly believe the Afghan war was necessary (though not the current  abuses). Recall too, those cowards turned their weapons on Buddha images carved millennia back onto mountains (Hindu Kush?) and hanged Najibullah, their former head of government. So far, we have not done that to Saddam Hussein. I do count the small mercies and blessings. But thank you for your contributions, YPUN

Bush does not care about the average Iraqui or the average American.

Well done.

I understand Senator John Kerry recently called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, by the year's end.

If so, I only wish he had had the wisdom and courage to make that call in 2004. That would have strengthened his campaign by distinguishing him from an unpopular president. Instead he ran "Bush-lite" and, well, the rest is history, as they say.
