I've written a great deal about my sufferings, sadness
and loneliness since joining Blogit almost 3 years ago.  It has been very therapeutic plus many of you have responded in kind, caring ways which helped me to heal.

afzal50

Thought provoking post, for me.

Hope is what offsets the gloom of continuous pain.

It would be a long road without turns if all we did was concentrate on the pain of this road.

Even reading a post such as this, smooths out the rough road of life. Well done.

I wrote my view in my Life A to A post...despite all the sorrows and
heartaches, it's important to keep the faith and not let tragedy mold our lives.

Dear Afzal50  ,   Sufferings come from God (ALLAH). No human being wants sufferings and sorrows . God has reasons why He gives sufferings to people. We ourselves  do not know the reasons immediately. It is only at a later stage that we will come to know the reasons which would turn out to be blessed! In such  circumstances , we have to be patient , submit ourselves  to God , pray  all the time asking for betterment  and Inshaallah  God will give you a better life than it was before.---Karldean.

I believe the best thing we can do when faced with such a situation is come out of it a stonger person. For the bigger ones, such as the death of a loved one, I think it helps to talk to someone who's been down that road, not neccasarily because their experiences were similar, but they can give you ideas on how to cope, and reassure you that just like they are, you're going to be okay.
