okay lets say,as it has been written, God is Truth
so shouldn't we seek the truth?
that which can be demonstrated to be invalid on our path to truth
shouldn't we discard that?
to hold on is to possess -- and, like the rich man who couldn't sell all that he had to give to the poor, even ideas are possessions that we must discard so that we can become more effective to the world around us.

Seems like I've heard the answer to this one a number of times...all those different people were in some way possessed by God at the time they were writing...kind of channeling or something for God.

what i seek
is the foundation in bedrock that will keep my house standing in a storm
thus I discard the old that is proven invalid
and embrace the more valid.
then discard and embrace again
a purgin process
so that my house is stronger with each passing moment.

I really wish you would explain what you meant by me being set free. I know the entire truth of the Bible, I know how it was written and why. I also know that you must read between the lines, so-to-speak. Because the real truth of the Bible is hidden and disguised within it, so that only the wise can know it. It was constructed this why by evil men who have been outsmarted by the Spirit-of-God. In their efforts to control the faith of men, they have served the purpose of God, to create a thing of great value to those who are Reborn of God's Spirit and can read and know the truth hidden from those using mere human wisdom. It seems to me that you are the one who needs to set free. Which of Course is only up to God to do or not do. I have what I have. And I am more than content. Thank you.

Like she
knows that the bible is truth. And I
know it is not. And you
know other truths, and so do others.
So sorry. I feel partually responsible for that comment, as it was in response to a comment from me, which was solicited. Even though I didn't agree with her, I think I put up the ammunition that she used in that comment.
