I think you are right. But what about the possibility that as human beings
any of us could make mistakes?

My apologies to you...I just checked the story again, and you're right.  The other dogs were killed.

That said, I still believe the "shelter" actions were wrong.  I know some other things about these places that I didn't mention in the blog.  These pounds can't be trusted.

I'd have to re-read the article, but if I recall correctly, the other dogs weren't killed.  The "shelter" had intentions of releasing Byrum's dogs back to him.  Byrum had his dogs under control until his fence was damaged.

That "shelter" knew they were wrong, otherwise, it would not have offered two new dogs to Byrum.  Byrum likely has legitimate legal grounds to sue.

I understand your point and am senstive to the situation...

But if these huskies were violent enough to kill two dachunds, then they very well might have attacked and killed children as well.

I'm glad they were euthanized.
