Frankly, again, you win that one -- the war in Iraq probably was
a great big mistake, but we didn't start it they did - Go to WAR ON TERROR ON A ROLL!

Frankly, I will give you this one -- I do not agree with the Iraq war
I have said all along that we should have stay in Afghanistan and finished the job there, and then if need be go into Iraq -- Grant it there has been many mistakes by this administration, as there were by the Clinton Administration -- but let us all put that behind us, and pray for a great victory not only for the USA, but for the Iraqi people and the world!

...and there was no Mr Z until the US went to Iraq....

yes you might....

...but because the route to Bin Laden was as straight as an arrow immediatley after 9/11 and the job could have been finished in Afghanistan, but instead, your moronic administration changed course and went to Iraq? to find ficticious WMD and to get Hussein, who was already crippled by UN sanctions and who had no bearing on 9/11 whatsoever? People like you have no good perspective on what is going on in the world, outside of what you choose to hear and believe, brought to you by FOX (!!), the chosen news source of the administration...that in and of itself should be cause for alarm, shutting out other perspectives and opinions by not allowing close scrutiny by other networks and papers...what happened to freedom of the press in the good old US of A?

You might get Bin Laden, and that'll be a good thing when it happens. All I'm saying is that on the way to getting that job done, by making all sorts of wrong turns and decisions, the US has killed thousands upon thousands of people, created a breeding ground for terror that will take generations to overcome, bankrupted itself and worse, alienated itself from even its closest allies...can any of that be worth taking out Hussein, who was the Sunni stop gap in the line of angry Shiites that stretches from the south of Asia, all the way round to the south of Africa? Put the bible away, get your head out of the sand and read some military history of the region just described. Hussein did more good than harm, on an international scale (dismal with the Shiites at home, yes, but a necessary evil to control a carzy mixed up region) by keeping the region relatively calm with his heavy handed policy.  It takes a crazy man to control a crazy region and he was very good at it.

Frankly, It took time to get Hussein, it took time to get Zarqawi, and
it has taken too long to get Bin Laden but we will!

Trevor, you could be right, but Clinton had his own agenda, didn't he!

FranklyMyDear, I am sorry you feel this way, but it is our prayer, that
this along with capturing Bin Laden will win this war on terror, and provide the world with some pax romana!

Mountain  Climber you will be blessed for your compassion of this president.  You are doing the right thing.  For what good does it do to only pray for our loved ones.  I Think Bush is  a horrible, horrible, if not the worst president in History, but I still have to pray for his crazy little head.

In Christ,

mellyn

I'd respectfully have to agree with Frank... I think the US would have eventually invaded Iraq even had 9/11 never happened.  Bill Clinton said so in 1998.

Iraq had absolutely NOTHING to do with 9/11...not a bloody thing
...and if you think it did, then you're deluded...or at least have acpted the lies of your administration....incredible that you would make that statement!

your comment is the epitomy of what's wrong with your country
.....your president is an utter moron for thinking he could go in and replace the government of a soverign nation that absolutely nothing to do with the "war on terror". No one really knows why he went there, (oil perhaps, but it sure as hell wasn't WMD as was sold to the US public, because Blix and the rest of the UN weapons team confirmed before the invasion that there was no infrastructure, first of all and certainly no WMD!) and after three bloody years, the US is drowning in debt (yes, it will sink your country, look what's going on with the US greenback) and hatred from the rest, particularly the Muslim world.  (Afghanistan/Iran) No. God cannopt help Bush now. It's too bloody late. The only thing that might help Bush is if he immediately removed the US troops from Iraq and perhaps went back into Afghanistan (where the actual terrorists and Taliban were/are in the first place and who are now re-mobilizing and coming with greater numbers and force) All Bush has accomplished in three years is create a tenacious breeding ground for more terror, put the country into a debt that surpasses ALL other administrations combined and alienated the US from the rest of the world....and you want God to help this guy? Nah....best to leave church and state seperate, as was decided a few hundred years ago....otherwise the US version of democracy is no better than that of some of the governments they claim are evil......oh, Zarqawi is dead and this will mean better days for US force in Iraq? I see, but please be careful of the other one thousand Zarqawi's coming down the pike readyt top take up the mantle of the first....
