Hi Shelly......

I think it's because we get bored with the same old scenery even if we live in a beautiful place.  Another state is new and exciting. An example is that I live in an incredibly beautiful state with awesome scenery everywhere you go, but still my husband and I love the Oregon Coast and spend time there.  I think it all boils down to variety! And of course...the grass is always greener.......!

Should we go to Norway and help with the clean up efforts???
After all, it was SHELLY'S COMET that did all the damage to those poor farmers...LOL!

Hey Spitfire!! How are ya, girl!
I heard that is a beautiful state, I'm happy to see you're happy and content with it.

Hey, Girl!!
I hear ya! I don't know why that is. Maybe cause it's "new" and unfamiliar to us. However, I can honestly say that living in Oregon for only 2 months, this is definitely the most beautiful state I have ever seen in this country. Wow. No BS. It's freakin' gorgeous.

Rumored...I've been to Windsor...Alot of people from the US
Go across the border right there to buy their drugs and see your physicians. I did while working in Detroit. I think that constant flow back in forth across the border, plus all those Casinos, attracts the unsavory types.

Shelly
Hi .. Good question but I know from experience that looks can be deceiving.

Windsor has been called, by other Ontarians.."the armpit of Ontario"....
I'm not sure its that bad, but it is a dirty city..just up the highway 100 miles is London, Ontario..a city that is as clean as Windsor is dirty...air quality is better...taxes lower....healthcare facilities second to none....I guess "the grass is always greener" applies (literally and figuratively in this comparison)

Because
everyone works in the next town. In my town they are all welfare bums. My husband and I are the only ones that go to work in my whole building. They get up around noon and then party all night keeping me up and teaching my kids new words because they fight constantly. Right now they are going at it again.

Symphony, well, I wouldn't say where I live is horrible, but a change
would be nice.

The grass is always greener in another state, unless it's New Mexico and
then it's dry and sandy.

Yes I agree, my city is horrible to look at....
I would prefer anywhere but here....
