I agree that there are different kinds of dreams. It's interesting how you were able to initially hear your father's words, but then couldn't. It's almost as if he were saying, "You could hear me before because we were on the same plane of existence. It will be more difficult now." Thanks for stopping by.

There are different kinds of dreams.  After my father died I dreamt he called me
and I was so shocked, even in my sleep in the dream, because I felt it was real, that
I was connecting with him, that I almost dropped the phone and didn't listen that
close to what he said.  Similar to your experience only the first few words he said
were intelligible.

Thanks for stopping by! And tell us the story of seeing your dead mother.

This could be the other realm, sannhet

and we all died years ago!

Seriously, I love your stories, puts me in mind of when I saw my dead mother...but that's another story!

Wow great experience Sannhet.....
I would not be overly concerned on what he was trying to say because if it is important you will have the dream again.  Sometimes all they really want us to know is that they still exist and they are stopping by to say hello!

I'm wondering if that is part of what this fear I have in my dreams is. Death is certainly different for me know, after the last couple of years of growth and learning. Maybe this is the last step I need to take in a complete transformation?

Yeah, it's hard to say. But I do think someone is trying to tell me something. Thanks for stopping by.

We do disagree, but only to a degree. I don't think that all dreams mean something. As Freud said, "Sometimes a dream is just a dream." But there have been too many times where dreams have helped me to solve a problem or to grow for them not to be more than just a "dream". Thanks for stopping by.

We tend to have an irrational fear of death, which prevents us from utilizing our psychic gifts.

You wanted to hear
But yet you really didn't, you were still afraid of what might be said.

Next time this happens, just try to relax. And try not to think about someone being dead, but transformed.
If you think dead and gone, you're setting yourself up for a shock when this happens, cause you think it's kinda unbelievable.
If you viewed death as more of a transformation...a shedding of a shell, so to speak, maybe some of that fear would deminish.

You were there, plain and simple-IMO
I would bet you that your uncle was trying to tell you he is just great and not to worry about him and that he'll see you soon.  The part of your being unable to speak is that you haven't adjusted to speed in that plane of existence.  Time is such a relative concept.  His slow motion speech would illustrate how time moves differently there.   I think your decision not to run away shows  how consciously we can direct that which we leave open during slumber, when the walls come down.

I have had lucid dreams like this my entire life. (some might say 80% of that part of my brain that shows Parkinson's symptoms was damaged by age 30, too...)

Some dreams play on my fears, but the flying ones are my all time favorites.  It is a glimpse into another plane, another dimension.

MY belief time next:  Heaven exists for us all; it is not just a brain function.  I always chuckle when I see the sceptics try to scientifically explain the part of the universe we trust God on his Word is there.

Thanks for sharing!

I think maybe
your Uncle is trying to tell you something.  Maybe he is just telling you he is OK, who knows.

Dreams are fascinating, but they're not real...they're dreams...I've
dreamed lots of times of mom, but they are dreams, not reality.  I know we disagree. LOL
