Thanks for reading I wish I could only post twice a week and still have readers. I think people would turn away even if they come on everyday and check your blog and nothing new is posted. But hell as long as they keep checking that's fine with me but eventually they give up. Like where did Spudnuts go? I keep checking her post and still nothing. I hope she comes back.

That does help but I don't play that game. I read new bloggers everyday and if I choose to leave a comment or not I don't expect them to read me. I just choose to read their blog on my own not because they left a comment. But yes on the weekend people have a little more time to post and read but me I spend most of the weekend with my kids rather than waste it on the computer. Only at night when they are asleep and my husband then I post and read. I love this place.

Are you sure? It may just be that you get more comments on the weekend, because there are so many more on during that time. Doesn't mean that people don't read you during the week.
I don't always comment when I read someone's blog, but I try to.
What I find that helps a lot is that if someone leaves you a comment, go and return the favor, it gets you to know other bloggers and for them to know you also. If you leave a comment, a lot of people will come and at least check out your blog, even if they don't comment. So if you're bored, it helps to read and comment on other blogs as much as you can.

8-ball, Its good to write every single day whether you post it or not. It is good practice and even if the comments are fewer at times, you never know when you just might get a really helpful comment or make a new friend who becomes a regular reader. Writing begets writing. The more you write, the more ideas you will get for writing. You can always rewrite a post in just a little different way or expound upon it if you think no one saw it the first time.
