You should, TAPS. It is really well done. The best thing Heffernan's done
besides The Corsican.  It reminded me of Bogey and Bacall, but, then, the title puts you in that nostalgic frame of mind all on its own.

saul_relative, I really liked Robert Mitchum playing Philip Marlowe.   But, then, I haven't seen very much of anything where I didn't like Robert Mitchum.   I went to the site where I could read the first chapter of this book and I think it would be another good one for him if he were still around.   I'm putting it on my "to read" list.
