Well, I read your "Ice Cream Pants" post yesterday. It's a great close-out post, and typical of the kind of stories I've grown so fond of at my fave blog. Not to mention the hundreds of fun comments we've exchanged. It's difficult to imagine Chez Medusa with a "Closed" sign on the door 
Going to miss you a hell of a lot. You've had a big impact on me.
You've got this attractive talent to share out there, though, and some excellent goals to pursue which will demand your time. I feel like being selfish, but why shouldn't the rest of the world discover our lovable Medusa, with her fetching blend of warmth, sassiness, innocence, brains, curiosity, humour, honesty....and of course, naughtiness with style. Can't forget that. Listen, maybe down the road you can renew your membership for a month, kind of thing, and visit us. You know, a month here or a month there 
Anyway, it's been a great year, Medusa, and you can sure count on me to stay in touch. All the best and knock their socks off, like you did ours 
That's my little toast to you. You don't mind some champagne in a martini glass?

Oh Medusa...
...you are a fabulous writer and I've so enjoyed reading your work. It's hard to say goodbye to the friends we make on blogit....as I write this I sigh. Writing is something we just do....like breathing...it has to come out and reading people like you...it also has to be drawn in and blogit is such a wonderful place to read and be read. Okay..I'm rambling...what I want to say is ALL THE BEST and I'll miss you...a lot. Stay in touch! Please email anytime...it would be nice to know real names so when we find them in future publications we can say..hey...I knew him/her when they were on blogit!!

I've been reading your last several posts and not commenting.....since you said you were leaving, I've just been too sad, and not wanted to constantly be bringing it up, and that's what I would do....anyway, they have all been wonderful, as usual....but the one about your uncle was especially so......so hearrtbreakingly honest in it's picture of how it so often is from both perspectives. I sometimes worry, what if my mother gets like that.....will I find myself dreading going to see her, wanting to avoid her...what if Michele feels like that about me someday? And, you know there have got to be times he is aware he is like that....and hates it so very, very much.......anyway, the post touched me deeply, as you so often do.....and I will miss you too much to say....so I won't try....hurry back......love you.

I understand completely the need for change, renewal, and prioritizing time, the most precious resource of all. It still makes me sad in a selfish way to think that when I log on to Blogit, I will not see your intelligent, witty, independent and candid comments on my post or follow your comments through the various posts.
You leave a very positive imprint, your words show your sincere heart, and I really hope that the wind will blow you back this way at some point or that our paths cross elsewhere. Be well, Medusa. I will miss you.
