tips on house hunting? Hmmm...
Look where you'd never look. Run the faucets... look under the kitchen sink... look for water marks or leaks or bugs (ugh)... look inside the closets... make sure the heat or A/C works...
Don't worry too much about paint or carpeting... those things can be replaced easily... depending on the circumstances.
oh... and is this an apt or house? try to check out the neighbors... LOL
