8-ball---I am on your side and don't like the way
your husband educates the dog. The dog trainer Rebecca never resorts to violence.

Thanks you get straight to the point. We will have a fun birthday for her it's not always about the gifts.

My husband is the one that is "mean" when our puppy when he does bad things. For example when he bites your ankles he will hit him and I will tell him not to which in turn the puppy runs to me. I hate it, there is other ways to teach a puppy not to bite things you don't need to hit him, he is just a puppy. But he thinks it's working his way because my way of teaching takes time and when he ruins it by hitting him we have to start all over. Men don't understand at all when it comes to "parenting".

Your're right they are a handful. We take him for walks and when we get home he is more active then he was on his walk. We love him and enjoy his hyperness. Just not when we have to leave him at home foe an hour the house becomes tornado alley.LOL Have a great weekend.

Thanks for that wonderful comment. It does help to buy things each month but with kids it's hard, they want different toys all the time or their clothes size changes.

Good shot at money and gifts

8-ball---You should ask Blogit for reimbursement because they

have earned much more from you than you from them. By the way, just don't spoil your lovely puppy so much. He should learn some manners. From the TV show "It's me or the dogs", I saw how spoilt dogs can be such a big annoyance and nuisance to the family before the savior trainer Rebecca comes to their rescue.

Having said this, I would be the indulgent owner if I were you because I am a dog lover like your husband.

to fully understand good sense and talent.....  I have to say, I was glad to see you were becoming one of my fans...since you seemed to think a lot like me....lol..

Hi, 8-ball,
I hope you enjoy your weekend and your new puppy.  I have friends with a rotweiller, and she's adorable and friendly, but awfully active.  They got her as a puppy, but the last time I saw her, she was a real handful.  My friends had a time with her, but they love her so much.   :)

What I've found that helps with this, is buying a little each month, or whenver you have the funds, and storing it in the closet, for birthdays, Christmas, etc.

It's really hard, on a low income, to buy a bunch of things at once, and sometimes, like you said, it's hard to buy anything.

Hope your little girl's birthday is wonderful!
