that's a question I have asked
i don';t think it is gone

i feel that we are born with The Spark

but that this "lower atmosphere" here on this sphere of a planet covers that up and smears a crsut on the person so that as adulthood nears, less and less of the spark is outwardly shown.

I'm with you in that we are not the crowning achievement, but we are the first (that we know of) that can actually reunite with the Divine.

It's a good question. Where does that magic, that divinity, go?

This is how I see it. Evolution towards oneness is an upward climb, and reaching human begins an arduous but possible chance at reaching its apex.

very thought pvovoking....
Psalm 150:6  - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Luke 19:40  - "I tell you that if these should remain silent, the stones would immediately cry out".

I agree with much of how you see the universe except I don't think energy hit the jackpot with us.  I don't think we are the crowning glory of creation.  I think we're one step in the evolutionary process of the soul.  But what do I know?

you look at infants
and toddlers
you seem something really neat there that seems to be lost as they grow older
