- Go to BUSH - THE PHONEY PRESIDENT
Pat B...
...as an external observer, it truly baffles me that the 'opposition' in America hasn't p[ulled it's finger out and really cashed in on the screw-ups of this administration.
The recent Rolling Stone cover article suggests Bush may be the worst president ever. This is rapidly becoming a concensus among history professors (one of whom wrote the article) and the wider public - hios approval ratings are at record lows - and yet the 'opposition' remains relatively silent.
I mean, since the Florida debacle in 2000, they've had ample ammunition with which to go after the Bush regime, but they're squandering it.
And I just don't understand why.
Perhaps you guys are in desperate need of a new political party - and maybe you're the one to start it! Unfortunately, I also know the massive financial barriers to entry in the US - barriers that look like they could keep the Bush's and the Clinton's in power between them for close on two decades - especially if Hillary was to get in!!
Thanks for reading, Pat - let me know where to send a contribution to your new party!!

It's clear to me that you're right - as far as it goes.
What worries me is that out of all those millions of Americans, we haven't come up with a clear voice or a good opposition candidate for the next election. Got any ideas?

Xeno-x...
...I blame it on the Faux news generation - those who think that by sitting down in front of the box every night, they have a clue about what's going on in the world.
Which is exactly what the business model is based on, of course - millions of eejits taking it all in and nodding like as many rear-window noddy dogs.
And then they have the cheek to call it 'democracy' and 'patriotism'!!
Sheesh.
Thanks for reading - and the compliment!

Very Interesting
I'd been reading your blog for the past couple of weeks, in part, because I agree with your views, but also because you always have interesting information. Because of your last commenter, I also looked at your "about me" page for the first time and he's right, you are very interesting. Nice to run into you here and I look forward to your blogs to come.
