Hey, bel_1965,

How brave of you to cut your hair. I'm always toying with different hairstyles, but I use extensions, so that my real hair stays the same length or is always growing. When I see a short style I like, I buy extensions and then get them cut into a style. It's very handy... long brown hair one week, short curly black hair the next week, blonde highlights, whatever. I hope Carl warms up to the new hair cut. It's funny, but seeems like most guys I know like long hair also. Not sure why. Hmmm.

I have that type of hair also. I hate that there's not too much that can be done with it.

It is great that you love your haircut. Although a lot of men like long hair, I am convinced that short and sassy cuts are great, too. I guess what is really important is that you feel pretty with your new style and it will show in your face, making your new cut even more becoming.

If my hair didn't always look a mess when it's long I would have no problem with it long, but it looks sloppy when it gets to long. So, on this Carl doesn't get his way!

My husband is just really fond of long hair. He is actually fairly proud when someone notices that I look nice, but he LIKES it long!

My husband never wanted me to color my hair and would make negative comments about others who had color (highlights) in theirs. I finally asked why did he not want me to color mine. He said it would draw too much attention to me. I am rather attractive. It was then that I realized that it was out of jealousy that he wanted no change in my hair. I then decided that I was the one who needed to like my hair style, not him. I had requested that he get his cut in certain ways and he always refused. What is good for one, is good for the other. Nice post!

There is no compromising to this. I did what made me feel good. My husband is used to my many hair changes and though he prefers it long he will live with it until I decide to change it again LOL!
