If we had a larger property I would have been.  Unfortunately we live very near the road and the speed limit is 55.  In a farming area, farmers tend to shoot raccoons and this just was not a safe place for them.

Our friends who have 5 acres took them both last night, so now they have a home and will be spoiled rotten and safe!

Hey I'd be elated provided I got help from the one who rescued them to look
after them

They will take them
but they will put them down.  I am calling animal refuges today.

Bel...do you have a local Humane Society that might take these furry,
little woodland creatures in???  I agree...don't want to see them killed.

LOL!
Well, the problem is they are orphaned and I don't know what to do with them?  They are scared to death and around here farmers kill them.  I don't want them killed and I am afraid to call animal control for the same reason.  Any ideas anyone???????????
