Simply inexcusable. By this young girl's account, some time had passed
between the IED explosiion and death of the American soldier and the retaliatory killings. She mentioned not going to school and that they were rousted with their nightclothes still on, suggesting time passage, which also suggests premeditation and not the crazed, vengeful insanity of the moment, which has been offered as a possible excuse. Great post, Damon. Hopefully, the military and our government will now do the right thing.
