This is so sad...I guess this is another big difference in our cultures...
In America the girl would have simply told her parents she wouldn't leave you and they would have had to make other plans about moving. We give our kids here too much power over our lives...we consider their likes and dislikes alot more in America.
We stay in neighborhoods so that our kids won't have to make new friends in a new area or be traumatized by the move. Guess parents in India don't pamper their children this way.
