Go to BUILDING A NEW RELIGION FROM THE GROUND UP

- Go to CHRISTIANS JUST AREN'T PRESENTING THEIR RELIGION WELL
And it is a contest
Otherwise religions wouldn't be sending missionaries out trying to recruit new members. And the scorecard, just like so many other things of this world, is $$$$
Oh yeah, don't forget to Pay the Preacher.

there is no contest
Christiany persists in holding tight to medieval ideas instead of looking at the original. -- instead of focusing on the basics.
a passage from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR comes to mind.
"All your followers are blind . . . too much heaven on their minds . . . "
When Jesus said to focus on the moment.
Live in the present.
The past is an unclear history and the future isn't here yet.
People are looking for real answers rather than the old, moldy broken record that Christianity has to offer.

You're looking at religion as if there is some sort of contest. Christianity is not in a race to see if it can collect more members than other ways of life. Also, Christianity in not a religion but a way of life. Forms of religion that help their members strive for christianity are Baptist, Methodist, CME, AME, Catholic, etc. It's not a contest but a choice that the individual has to make on their own.
Also, there was a time in history where a majority of the world believed that the earth was flat. Eventually the majority of the world came to believe that that was not the case. When Jesus returns, we'll see what the majority of the world believes.

quite true.
I'll have to throw out an explanation of the resurrection idea.

Just think how Christianity would play out if there had been no resurrection...they would have had to focus on loving their neighbor instead of some Egyptian ideal about the afterlife.
