Thank you so much!  Actually you reminded me, I do need to blog and probably explain my reasoning a bit more.  As much as I would love to simply go back to "just being a wife" my heart will never be too far from the troops, be it my husband or someone I have never and will never meet, they are all mine and I can't walk away from that.

Nice story.  I'm not a morning person either, but I'm sure Pam will come to appreciate her dad's sentiment one day.  Anyway, whether your husband has completed a tour in Iraq and returned home to a stateside assignment, or whether's he's retired, or a drilling reservist or national guardsman or what, you're a still a MILITARY WIFE, in every sense of the word, just as he's still a great asset to our country and ways of life.  That's my take on it, but I do get your point about changing your name.  Thanks.  :)
