You've done it again, Thomas.
Gives one something to think about, that's for sure.  I like the idea of fighting one's way back from Hell.

ThomasFranklin - thought I'd bring the cookie response over here...

The story is horrorifric. Usually when we go to church, we dream of beauty. The preacher gives a message of 'do good and live by the rules.' With this story, I broke these rules. And at he end, I preach my sermon of party hearty cause this story prooves you don' have to stay in hell burning.. Its a back handed slap at religious ceromony. As for repeating this process...it starts with burning the Bible

Hey ThomasFranklin.........A good read, but like TAPS said,
We want more. We want to see you explain your own journey and how to pick up again....I liked this but was also somehwat confused by the last line..

Thank you for your honesty. (lol) Yes, its gross but its also tongue in cheek. Sometimes, when we experience rotten things it makes us more complete. Looking through rose colored glasses-can also give a warped view of life. I wrote about a journey less traveled.

The last sentence seems to contradict the rest...
Party on??? Who would want the life this guy had? Whether he found redemption in the end or not, the JOURNEY is what matters. And his was GROSS!

Hey, this guy came back from hell and regained life but death is usually involved in stories. As for the weekend-its raining. Hope you have a better forecast.

I don't know...If you can beat the system and you've experienced the worst...does one slow down?

I like the bit about the toes, reminds me of those obsessive Everest climbers

ThomasFranklin, perhaps you would like to share how you managed the "great gulf" instead of keeping it to yourself.   I'm sure there are many who would like to get out of that "pit".

ThomasFranklin, that was
very tales from the crypt.  I used to love that show.  You could start a new show and call it, 'Someone Always dies in this Show'.  I bet it would be a big hit.  Great story, hope you had a nice weekend
