I was uanble to respond for I needed to update antivirus software and it seemed that I had difficulty. This is a difficult area for me and it is certainly difficult to think of this type behavior as a compliment, yet I realize what you are saying! Thanks!

yes, really listening is a lost art..some people, I think, cover...
their inability to listen with meaningless yammering (thinking of my sister-in-law, and my wife would agree with me)...

Alas, the world if full of people with whom the opening of the mouth signals the closing of the mind. I'm afraid that listening ... actually listening to what others say is a dying courtesy.
And as for my views on their reaction/responses to what one writes ... do you have five days to spare????
