I think I've read maybe one or two "About Me" pages, Mademoiselle.
Sorry.  However, about the Jimmy Carter addition -- I used a device in writing known as leading, which basicly assumes that the reader knows where the sentence is going.  (It works better in a spoken conversation, because then you get tone and inflection.)

Ya. I was born in 85. Nobody reads the "About Me" pages, do they?

Also, you were supposed to add, "And that candidate's name was Jimmy Carter."

"Temporarily out of order."

No doubt about it, Mademoiselle. He did run for president in 1976 but
received little support and backed a much stronger and virtually unknown candidate from Plains, Georgia.  You were three?  Wow.  Jesus, I feel old.

I had no idea Bentsen served as Treasury Secretary ...

All I really knew of him was from that one soundbite (I was, like, 3 years old when that debate took place).

Perhaps he should have been the Presidential candidate instead of Dukakis.

"Nonpartisan nonparticipant."
