I like that schedule!

That would be so great, and the proportion seems to be the same, 12/24 vs 8/16 (hours sleep/hours awake).

Thanks for that info; I may try to look up some sleep studies.  I was in a sleep loss study when I was a college student in the late 60s ($2.00 per hour, which was good pay then!)

I once read a study

done by collage students where they put several students in different rooms with no windows, no clock, or any other means of telling the time of day (or night).  After a week or so they noticed the sleep patterns of these students changed.  Almost all of them reverted to sleeping 12 hours and then being awake 24 hours at a stretch.  This study was done MANY years ago.  I like the whole 12/24 hour thing though.  I would get so much more done!

P.S. I used to sleep 12 hours every day when I didn't work or have kids!

Well,Chris2303 . . . .
I do hope it works for you, but keep in nmind odd numbers of sleep hours may only work for me because I, myself, am odd!

I will now take note of that - odd numbers meaning a better night's sleep.  If I find it to be true, I'll let you know.

Yeah!
Eggs and Booze!  The latest I've read is that a glass of wine or a shot or two of whiskey, or a beer a day is actually beneficial.  I'll bet the alcoholics run with that one, but forget that the same studies state that more than one or two drinks a day are actually detrimental.

I know, it's like the bulletins about eggs.  Now, they are saying eggs are good for you.  I like to get 8 hours of sleep, but since I've become a "blogging addict" that's darn near impossible to achieve.
