Thanks for stopping by. We can vote absentee. What do you think. We need her down there. She should have run for mayor of New Orleans. All those people she helped would have voted for her.

That may be true, but I can not see where that is a factor on an even playing field.

Maybe it was partly because of humanitarian reasons.

Jack Flash

You are so right. Perhaps it is only because the cord is not long enough on the living room fan to reach the plug that prevents it from moving the stones. It is such a relief on my part to know that you have been here and confirmed my thinking exactly, yep something is going to happen, for sure!

I understand politics are not for everyone, but they are the loadstone on everybody's little neck chain.

Be blessed Mr. Flash. Was it your sister who attempted to carry on the family name and named her son Flash Gordon?

justi,

Political discussions are always interesting.  I usually read them without offering opinions.  A dumptruck of stones is never moved by a living room fan.

I have one opinion to: something is going to happen, and that's for sure.

Jane's it is
The idea is scary but it is a time I think we are looking for but are not sure what it will bring before we are out of here. If that sounds like a riddle to some you and I do understand it.

I found this blog delightful!
I, too, am peeved by our president.  He has turned out to be far more political than I imagined, with a seeming desire to please everyone.  Does he not understand this is why he's losing his base?  He has become so middle of the road that I'm not exactly clear what he stands for anymore.  Which is sad, because I fear we may lose both Houses of Congress this fall and that is a frightening thought.

I have just gone through your recent post and found it courageous and also very interesting. These days, not every one will write what you have written. I have heard many people complaining, when I was in Latin America recently, but for fear of being hacked, I did not say anything. In my opinion, I think the American people are right to get concerned about the influx of people who in addition, are arrogant and want to change the way of life of US citizens. Those critising the minutes men  as I told one of my colleague in France, should better welcome the Latin Americans in their own country. For example ,in France where there are only an estimated five hundred thousand illegale immigrants mainly from North and West africa and China, there is a lot of noise why then would they dare criticise minute men? The links you added was very helpful to those who want to understand. Thanks. I am sorry for being this long.

I was about to respond to your previous comments. A million thanks for reading. As for your question on whether, there is/are any possibilities for dialogue? I will not say a definitive no. But since France is within a year to Presidential elections, there are a lots of manipulations. The student strikes are just a proof. For there is no reason why students will be striking when a law has been created to answer their primary concern. As you also mentioned, there are a lot of grey here, any person who appears to be open to dialogue may appear weak in the eyes of the electorate. Once again  thank you for reading and God Bless.
