or did Jesus to go Galilee and gather disicples along the way, as John said.
it can't be both, can iut?
has to be one or the other, right?

Why make such a big deal out of it?
You have four writers, who wrote at different times, their memories and perspectives. Each one is going to have unique observations. It is my opinion that the different voices of the Gospels help to paint a more complex and thorough picture -- sort of three dimensional -- than would four writers all saying the same thing -- which is what you seem to prefer.
It's like having four part harmonies rather than everyone singing melody.
I'm betting, xenox, that you would disparage the Four Gospels and yet gladly accept the Gnostic Gospels as gospel truth. Am I right?
