I'm giving one big hug to all of you....since I am short on time to get back to each comment, but I do read each one and learn alot from your words...I'm sorry Blanche has gone away from Blogit...We all need to take breaks for whatever reasons. I know Blanche will continue writing and I hope all of you do, because there is such power in the written word, as they aptly say.

Medusa....I wasn't going to say anything, but I decided to let you know....
Blanche had me blocked for a while. I got into it with her, and she ended up blocking me. Before she left, she wrote a post about being sick and tired of "some bloggers" and their constant sly remarks against her. The post was only up for a few minutes. I just happen to be around, and read it. To my surprise, she had unblocked me. I emailed her, asking why she had a "sudden change of heart" she gave her answer, and told me, "it's time for me to move on" The next thing I know, she deleted everything. I emailed her recently, but have not gotten a response.

Hi Krisles..I really hate disappointing you. And your opinion matters to me
Blogit will be here for quite some time, so I never shut a door completely, in case I get cabin fever again. I will keep in touch, although I will miss my favorite sexpot writer here, ha ha...now I mean that as a Big compliment....I used to enjoy reading Cosmopolitan way back in the late 70's and early 80's when Helen Gurley Brown was at the helm. That was when the mag was at its best. Very intelligent writing on sexual matters and the stuff really made me think or let me broaden my horizens..There had never been an honest women's mag that talked about sex and men until Cosmo...You remind me of her vision..Don't laugh. I mean that as a compliment again.

Well! This is a hell of a note!!! I'm like Lensman....waking up from another reality....and coming into a nightmare....I was just sitting down to get reacquainted and you say you're leaving???!!!! There will never be enough time....there....sorry, that's the brutal truth.....hate to break it to you youngsters, but.....it doesn't get any better. Anyway, can't you just cut back.....still stay in touch.....must you worry about rankings and such and just write less, read less, comment less, but stay in touch? Just a thought....it's what I do and I just passed my year anniversay on the 12th....will not be here as much as I was initially but have just changed my expectations..... Oh well, sorry to always be nagging you....I just don't want you to go away completely....that's all....you know what's best (I suppose..........)

Hi Lens....Things do change quickly over here....
But you have been stretched for time, too....And time, seems to be something we always chase after especially as we grow older....Don't worry....I can always return....Blogit is a great vehicle for writers and I've certainly stumbled upon many....You have been my favorite...and your words have captured many hearts here...I don't want to get mushy, but you get the point...And I know Blanche focus ahead and hopefully let her talent with the written word guide her....Thanks for your kind wishes...But I'm still here for a while longer.

I feel like Rip Van Winkle, waking up to find a lot of things changed. I've been so tied up, adjusting to the new training and the 12-hour shifts lately that I feel I've been off in some other world. I've only been able to sporadically pop in and out. I had no idea Blanche had left and I'm very sad to hear it. She's a big part of Blogit and I'll miss her clear-headed commentary and following her advances in life. Also, I like how she's not afraid to swim against the current. I hope her absence will just be a holiday. For sure, we all need those. As for you, well, you know how I'll feel about that.
A Medusa-less Blogit will be a reduced Blogit, and that's just a fact. It'll be like finding a familiar old place with the grass high and the windows boarded up. But you've got some great goals to pursue, so I'm with you all the way on those. And returning to blogging at some point is always an option, too...

Blanche announced she was leaving on the 17th...
And you're right... It's like a hole has opened up in the middle of our lovely green place. Or am I having a senior moment. Was it someone else who said they were going? I think it was. So now I'm nonplussed. Where is Blanche? :(

So true, Ginnie....And near impossible to seek out new voices and still
