Do you have your Grandma's typewriter? I have my grandpa's and I so don't know how to use it. I play around on it.

I have journals from high school.

Spiral-bound ones, mostly, and one 5-year diary with pages stapled in because--c'mon. 5 lines?! LOL

hello, by the way. I joined 10 minutes ago and I love this place already.

I didn't have a notebook, but I use to get on my grandmother's old typewriter, and type away, I still have the typewriter, but I'm not sure where the stories went too,

I hate writing on the computer before I came here mostly because it takes me forever to type I don't know the keys very well. But now since Blogit I don't have to look down very often to type, but I still like to write my thoughts down on paper before I post or type it up. Paper and Pencil #2.

I write in my journal every night. When I look back I laugh at the funny stuff my kids have done that I have forgotten. I'm not even that old but I have forgotten a lot already, it's great to keep a journal.

8-ball, my answer is a "No" regrettably.

I used to write a lot in my younger years but I threw them away just because I didn't like my handwriting.

Now with the computer, I have no problem keeping my written stuff.

I would like you to tell us the pranks!Hehe!

Some...
but not as much as I wish I had now.  I see the same, a lot of good (although very rough) material there.  I'm at least trying to keep my journal now on a more regular basis so I can remember later on...

Hummm..there is a whole box of stuff in my storage shed.

A go ahead post your prank story! Maybe change the names to protect the guilty!

Yes I would love to post them but some are pretty stupid, and my journal entries I would have to think about them. Some are ok but some were pranks that only four of my closest friends know about, so I will have to ask them first. It's a work in progress though so stay tuned everyone.LOL

It is a lot of fun when you look back and read them and knowing where you were at that time in your life, and to where you are now. It makes me laugh at some of the crazy story ideas I had.

8-Ball.....

I have read my journals from years ago and sometimes all I can say after reading something is....WTF...what was I thinking? LOL I look forward to your postings on this should you decide to post them!

I've been keeping notebooks and journals all my life.

It awful!!! I've got a whole box of them. Plus my hard drive is FULL of stuff! Then in my storage unit, I have a tall filing cabinet full. Maybe I got carried away?????

It is alot of fun to go back and read them though.

Those are nice reminders of another time and coming from a totally
different perspective which should make for interesting writing to blend it in with who you are now.
