Agreed...
It is sad that so many who have stolen from our country have given such a bad name to those who have come here legitimately and are working hard to be an American. I'm glad to hear about your neighbors. Wish them all the best from someone who doesn't know them but truly appreciates their efforts and am glad they are here.

unfortunate
This poem is true of many immigrants. Then there are some like my neighbors, who came from Ukraine. They would not take a dime of assistance, even when they badly needed it. They stuck it out until they got jobs. They are very skilled people. It is unfortunate for the ones who are a plus to this country that the ignorant, lazy stereotype exists.
