SlyCy...
...did you catch the recent Rolling Stone cover article, suggesting the Shrub may well be the worst US President EVER?
It's very good. And very worrying.
Thanks for reading.

Every time I bring up Bush to my family my family tells me I'm crazy
I am alarmed. I don't know why they don't leisten to me. I am probably obnoxious but this man is an obnoxious subject; I have often told them they don't care but they just call me crazy.

Interesting how equally strident criticism comes...
in the first article, from a "conservative," and in the second article, from a "liberal." (I use quotation marks because the terms are as imprecise as they are indelibly marked on our political dialogue.)
Another thing is that the Washington leaders need to convince the people that there is always a serious threat on the horizon, in order to justify ever-greater military spending that Americans would otherwise, probably, question. Therefore Washington scares people with threats, real and imagined, in order to keep the gravy train running toward the weapons contractors.

If You...
...read it properly, you'll find it's the work of other writers who are, I believe, American.
I use this blog to disseminate the views of others, as well as my own.
And to borrow your comparison technique, you'll find that many believed the Nazi concentration camps to be a 'conspiracy theory', right up to the liberation of Belsen.
Thanks for reading!

Just curious...but why do you always use "we" when talking about America and it's politics.
I loved the bit about the concentration camps...and how you drew in, what do you people call him...."Darth" Cheney and Haliburton into your conspiratorial mix........have fun.

When you are right, your right
Your last paragraph says it all, but not all of us are behind Mr. Bush. I did not vote for him, and I cannot believe that he made a second term. By the time he leaves office the damage will be too great to repair.
