Oh, it's down there MG. Apparently the deposit must not be all that large
in Mexico's interior or there would be a lot more political jockeying going on. But I dare say there's enough oil there to better the nation considerably (Mexico, not the U.S. But, then, if Mexico became a better place to live, there would be less illegals and the U.S. wouldn't have such a border problem. So....). That is something to look into...

Has anyone ever thought of fixing Mexico?
..why go all the way to China for cheap labor? ...there are sizable oil and gas deposits in Mexico... why not the Mexicans do something with it?

Right you are, scoop. We'll meet the border problem head-on with
pie charts in their faces! And I think banana yellow, chartreuse, neon blue, and magenta should be the new alert colors. I am partial to black and white, but nobody is into monochrome these days...
