That is a very interesting comment. I couldn't agree with you more.
Men, as a general rule, do have a problem with expressing their feelings. The ''male ego'' doesn't seem to allow it. I see it so often, and it is so classical, that I recognize it in about five seconds. The pattern is incredibly standardized. Even though it does seem to be dissolving, one still has to tread lightly--a diturbing male ego characteristic is pugnacious defensiveness. The pugnacity of the defensiveness is even a standard part--a totally irrational part.
Psychological insight, I hope, will cause it to eventually pass. Self-awareness, unfortunately, is a very slow growing child.

Very funny my husband thinks woman are great at venting also, it's just natural for us to tell men what we think. But they are catching up, men are starting to share their feelings more say than fifty years ago when it was unheard of to see a man cry.

Thank you. I have been a little short of time of late, but I
promise to get to your blogs. I always enjoy them. You remind me so much of the South that I get homesick for a part of the country that my father was born and raised in. It's odd. I have been down there only a few times, but part of my heart is still there. It sometimes amazes me how few people even begin to understand the true soul of the South.

Thank you. I have seen a lot of bloggers blow off steam here. I told myself I would never do it, but it actually does make you feel kind of good. Actually, some of the best blogs I have seen have been done by people who did a good job of venting. I think women generally do a better job of it than men. My guess is that It probably has something to do with the male ego thing. Good venting is a much needed art form. I think if I work on it, I could probably get quite good at it. I have done it all my life, now I just have to blog it. How about a new TV series: Venting in the City?

I like the new name. It's close enough to the last one that people shouldn't have any trouble shifting gears. Also, it's shorter and quite a bit more catchy. Very good choice.

Okay, alright already, I'm not going to bother you. I wouldn't
do a thing like that when a man has a lot of work to do and stuff... I just came by to tell you I had missed ya and now that I'm back I wanted to leave my calling card. You know what you might not recognize it, I got my hair cut and colored and changed my name but I'm the same underneath and all. (Justsouno) Have fun now - don't mind me I'm not making a sound.

Thank you for saying that. When I reread my post that was exactly my response. Some days are like that. I hope to be better in the morning. Then maybe I can get a chance to come back here and mop up the mess.
Besides, Saddam's well has really turned into a mess since he left. I think a bunch of Hash smokers have been hanging out in the place, and they have the antennae and the electricity in total disrepair. I believe the Belly Dance entertainers have been using the computer room for other activities. You wouldn't believe it.
