I have never cleaned a bachelor's kitchen, but
I have moved into some of those places that sassyass_64
did not clean. Yikes. I could feel the warm satisfaction from you when you wrote about cooking in that clean kitchen. How nice.

Tom's place was not quite as bad as you describe but I told him it had better never get that way again or I would string his ass up and do whatever I wanted to do to him... he almost looked scared until he thought about the possibilities

This sounds all too familiar
I used to restore rental properties back to the re-rental status. I have tackled some disturbing types of filth in my time. I once found pancake syrup under the refrigerator that took an hour to scoop up and a pizza down the side of the fridge, just left there with the toppings petrifide. I have cleaned human feces, vomit, and things that could not be classified. It was good money, but gawd, was it gross! By the way, your recipe sounds great.
