Many lessons can be derived from this story. Money and sex are only temporary

Hi THomas Franklin.....Kind of reminds me of the mother/son grifters....
I forgot their names but they are locked away in prison....They were quite a pair......Good short story, not easy to do.

Yes, a chill that makes you shiver. The chill of life.

That last line is really chilling.
You do a good job in a small space of telling your story and drawing your characters.

A and B
Thats a good one! I didn't consider being sent away to jail. Reminds me of another possible story of a threesome who I wrote about before.

This is funny. I didn't feel bad
for the mother at all.  I think I dated the son a few times.  I know two women that had 5 husbands each. That's the most I have ever met.  Only one of them was rich, my friend's grandmother 'Nan'.  She left my friend a large inheritance. Ofcourse, all her relatives fought like wolverines over the inhereitance.  Everybody got more than I make in two years, but it wasn't enough.  The family still fights over money, but it's down to the third generation so nobodys rich. That's what they say, wealth usually only lasts three generations. Great story!

ThomasFranklin...

Your story reminds me of something my father typed once and I found it in his typewriter on a yellowed piece of paper from age.

"Use things, not people.  Love people, not things."

Take care and thanks for visiting.

What's so great about this story is that, as it entertains,

it also teaches valuable moral lessons.

P.S. Shouldn't the title be FA$T, HARD RELATION$HIP

"And they all lived happily ever after."

If, by chance, she survived, he might spend the rest of his days behind bars. Lol.
