Yes, and I have to wonder what happens if you are the mother
of several allergic children...do they start tracking you if you must purchase too much allergy medicine? Make calls to your doctor to ensure you really do have, GASP, seasonal allergies?

I don't use allergy meds despite pronounced allergies.
and I especially don't take decongestant preparations (such as those you have to sign for) because it only makes the rebound effect worse when it wears off. When I unthinkingly quit, I had a rough time, then it is a series of sneeking/watery eyes and coughing fits interspersed with clear-minded and symptom-free time.
I did like Seldane, but people abused it and it got yanked.

Yes, they do go overboard in fighting the meth problem,
and of course, it hurts the innocent people the most. I don't know what the solution is to that...
However, for allergies, if you're open to alternative therapies, this works: I am 45 and have had severe allergies that plagued me for most of my 45 years, and hands down, the best therapy is vitamin C crystals/powder mixed in orange juice. With the juice/C combo, take Kyolic 102 Garlic capsules/pills. It must be the 102 formulation--no substitutes.
If I do that faithfully, I have no allergy problems. I take no regular medicine at all. With the juice/C/Kyolic 102, you won't need medicine.
