So, did you talk to the neighbor?

I hope it works out too. It's still the morning and I'm just waiting to see if the car will move. But as I look at the car in daylight it looks like it doesn't even belong on the road. I think I will knock on my neighbours door and see if he knows anything. I'll get back to you thanks for dropping by.

Jack
Thanks for reading and leaving your input to this matter. I do live in Canada and yes the two spots are outlined in english and in french (kidding) in our lease. But go to court I think it would take two years just to see a judge. Thanks for reading.

8 Ball,

If you cannot get the owner or manager to do something, it's time to go to court.  If you are in Canada, the laws certainly must take care of this kind of thing.  You should have a rental agreement or lease agreement that states the parking policies clearly.  If there is a written agreement, the owner has to conform to it by law.  If it is a verbal agreement, it is still an agreement that is enforceable by the court.

When the owner or manager gets a court summons, I can assure you that they will take action.  Since they are in breech of the agreement, and you are suffering the damages of inconvenience, risk of harm to yourself and family, and risk of damages to your vehicle as a result of that breech, you can sue for financial settlement.  In addition to those damages, you are not being supplied the use of the property that you are paying for.  A lawsuit will wake up the owner and/or manager very quickly.  Pursuing the matter will give you a very valuable lesson in dealing with mistreatment.

if i can safely park outside of the lot and my spot is being used by a

visitor, for tonight, i would let it go.  if i have spots contractually designated as mine, i would make a (relatively) permanent sign informing anyone who parks there that it is a reserved spot and that the extra spot is available by prearrangement, all others are towed.

it sounds bitchy perhaps but i've had experience with the uncaring parkers and you have to draw really clear lines.  hope it all goes smoothly for you because it is exactly this type of mundane thing that tips us and makes us react out of character.

First they can't drive right, now they can't park right...what's the world coming to?

I would try to speak to the neighbors about the problem
If that get's you nowhere, then the management will have to be your next step. Good luck.

Yeah,
I don't know how some people get through the day with a lot of stress. I don't get stressful very often but this is pissing me off all over a stupid parking space. I don't know why?

..like the late great Richard Proyer once said in a monolouge...
"..sometimes it's all you can do just to get through the day with out killing some motherf~~ker!"

There is no management.
The owner does nothing around here just collects the rent. He only shows when your late paying.

I hate when that happens!

I would call the management if I were you.
