Yes, there is a duplicity involved, ain't it?
One is the convenience of having more money and the other is the loss of power identified with one's partner earning more than one does. And the twain doesn't meet!

I was married 13 years and I never made more money than my wife,
and it had no bearing on our relationship.

It is Easier to Say Than Do
Most men talk a lot about what they will or will not do or can or cannot accept. It is talk. There are things they cannot accept, will not accept and if they are forced the woman needs to watch her back in many ways. Nice post. Thanks for commenting on mine. I was not silent for her to think I approved. I worked on my own project and viewed hers when she asked for the opinion.
