You are exactly  right and there is a spam button and I always hit that when they come on to me.  Yes they always want to marry you etc

I used to have my profile on Yahoo too.

And I got some wierd stuff like this. I wonder if Yahoo has a LINK to report scam artists or phishing etc.

This one guy contacted me and after only one day, he claimed he was falling in love with me....HA! He said he was working as an engineer in Africa and would be home soon. We would meet and do all these wonderful things.

He was saying how he couldn't wait till we could get together. The whole thing made me suspicious and I never believed him -One day I saw his profile on another dating site. Only this time, he was using a different name, occupation, etc.

It scared the crap out of me and I wondered if he was just buzzing around dating sites in search of women in certain income brackets in order to 'fall in love' with them and then talk them out of some money. You hear of this sort of thing on TV all the time..
