You know, can illegal immigrants truly say these words? I don't know how they've been translated in Spanish, but I would feel like a hypocrit, I think, if I knew I was in the country illegally, singing these words.
As I have said ad nauseum, I am all for LEGAL immigration to this country. As well, I believe it is imperative for immigrants to learn English. The California school system proved that immigrant students who did well in school were those who learned English. Spending billions of dollars to teach Mexican kids in spanish was pretty much a flop. So why encourage the use of the Spanish national anthem??

Perhaps people who do not speak/understand Spanish fear that they will be singing words in Spanish that are not appropriate to the spirit of our National Anthem?
