Funny, same thing happens to me
Don't think there is any venom involved! LOL However, cats mouths/claws are rife with nasty germs.
This last time, the cat got me real good next to a finger joint. It still hurts and is hard to move that joint.

Korani,
I noticed that cat scratches always make me stiff in the joint nearest to where they scratched me.... Is that caused by germs from thier claws, or some kind of mysterious cat venom?
