We're stuck with the fact that our own laws forbid

the practices that the Bush administration spends so much time defending.

If you went just by what is written, you'd think the U.S. a paradise of justice and liberty. No matter what we Americans would like to think, that paradise is still a distant goal, and right now we're heading the other way.

You deny the fact that a senior army officer has now finally been convicted for attrocities at Abu Ghraib??

You deny the fact that the British army are deeply uncomfortable with the attitudes and actions regularly displayed by the US military?

Yes, I am the enemy! The enemy of those who sweep this stuff under the carpet. The enemy of the hypocrisy that is rife in the US - a supposedly Christian nation on an extended killing spree in the Middle East. Does "Thou Shalt Not Kill" ring any bells? I am the enemy of those who think patriotic bullshit and manufactured fear are the pillars on which to build a society.

The Liar in Chief still thinks

he's the chief "Decider". Until the American people get off their fat asses  and out from behind their gas guzzling SUV's and march across the Whitehouse lawn, pitchforks in hand, demanding the Bushman's butt, nothing much will happen. The only other chance we have are the November elections. But the corruption runs deep, it's hard to  know if that will matter either.

There is an artcle in the current ROLLING STONE magazine that argues Bush is the worst preident in American history.
