I very much appreciate your efforts to make this conflict clearer to the minds of Americans, but the roots of the problem go much farther back in history than just the last 100 years or so. In fact the believe the case could be made that there has not been a meaningful peace in the Middle East in the last 2000 years. And the roots of the conflict may go back even further than that. Happy to share my thoughts and knowledge of the history if you are interested.
