Lensman, very true, but that said --
I'd prefer a shot to the head than death by Ebola virus anyday.  But then again, there's something pretty great about life!

FactorFiction, like Taps said, perhaps it would not be

NICE to be amongst the remaining 10%.  Imagine burying all those rotting Ebola corpses . . . . (Not to be crude or anything, but one must ponder the practicalities!)

I've never liked the "Chicken Little" types who love to scare the shit out of everyone, but I do appreciate fair warning about certain things, too.  I guess the trick is to figure out which is which.

I read about that guy outside of Blogit
I do like how it appears that he thinks it applies to "everyone else." That's the impression I got anyway...

TAPS, can you IMAGINE burying all those people?

Now there's a frightening thought.  The disease and death would likely contribute to the decimation of the remaining 10%.  But then perhaps that's what the dear professor was getting at.

Awful!

Yeah, Writeroflight, good point. That is, THEY DON'T!
Well said. Let the truth come out!

If, as Pianka suggests, nine out of every ten people that I know and love must go by way of ebola, I'm not sure that I would want to be a survivor.

And I'm sure Professor Pianka is volunteering to be first . . .
. . . just like liberals volunteer to raise everyone else's taxes first.

Burly, they proliferate too much, and make too many headlines.

But you're right, they will go away and be forgotten in a flash.

As always . . . thanks!

Alarmists! They proliferate. We have to learn to look past them. You always post good stuff. Keep it up.
