For one brief
shining moment there I thought you were referring to me the 'QWEEN' but the '80 years old today' bit caught me off guard and so did the bit about my 'land and castle.' Oh well, for one brief shining moment I thought not only was I the Qween but I thought it was my birthday too!

Hmmm, think it might be fair to say that they've been "royally"

paid back for the insipid lives they lead?  What a boring, monotonous and empty life that must be, to have every movement, every fart, every comment caught on tape or photo.  No thanks!

Good luck on getting any property returned to you and other British "subjects."

I don't think the Queen has much power.

Is that inaccurate?

In Britain, I would place the most responsibility on Mr. Blair and those who support him. (Which is to say the nexus of interests that join him and Mr. Bush in those curious number of policy areas where they agree.)

Generally I agree with your meaning here, and I think the best way to avoid the, let's say, taking by the well-endowed of that which does not belong to them (the gentle way to describe the sin) is to expand the domain of public property and promote a relatively even distribution of private wealth. (Obviously, the very opposite of the prevailing trend today.)

Hi Damon
It's Burly. You haven't changed a stitch since the last time I read you you old revolutionary! I too salute your Queen, Elizabeth. I remember her as a lissome lass when she succeeded her father. During the war, Elizabeth, Margaret, the King and Queen along with Churchill were the solid pillars around which we built our opposition to Nazi oppression and prevailed! They are to be admired and venerated, at least as I see it from my septugenarian perspective. I will never forget their contribution to keeping the world free. They did what had to be done and did it magnificently!

I Actually...
...invested my 25p in a fund run by Equitable Life! At one time it was worth £2.23, but now it's worth...er...nothing.

Don't you love capitalism?

Shall we all come over for a party at your house?
We can all get drunk and go toilet paper the castle.

I may be sticking my neck out here, but something tells me ...
... you're not a big fan of Liz's. - I enjoyed your rant.

You not having a street party then, Damon?

Did you spend your 25p coin in 1977? Unfortunately I smashed my mug by dropping it in the sink a few years back. It would have fetched me £3.50 in a boot sale.

God Save the Queen. The Fascist regime. Made you a moron. Potential H-bomb.
